Virtually everything you touch, eat or wear has been on a truck at one time or another. The trucking industry is constantly growing, making room for new, qualified drivers. Another startling statistic is that over 80% of the current drivers will be retiring within the next 6 years.

A study produced in June for the Canadian Trucking Human Resources Council estimates the industry needs nearly 224,000 new drivers — 37,000 annually — over the next six years to satisfy the demand resulting from economic growth, combined with attrition from the industry.

Truckers are among the oldest workers in Canada, with 40 per cent of the workforce over 45 years of age, compared with 34 per cent for all other industries; with 13 per cent older than 55, compared with the national average of 11 per cent.

This means transportation will lose workers to retirement faster than most other industries. The industry realizes it hasn't done a great job attracting new, young truckers. That’s about to change.

Maximum Training’s mission is to help provide not only qualified drivers, but also QUALITY drivers in the industry.

We are looking for key people that are responsible, trust-worthy and have a professional attitude to ensure that our roads are kept safe and sound for all that share them.

Maximum Training is the largest privately-owned training school in Saskatchewan. We operate 6 full-time Tractor-Trailer units with 9 staff members. After training for many years in the industry, my wife encouraged me to do what I do best. In April 2001, with her support, I did just that. We went out on our own with a truck and an idea of providing the highest quality training for the trucking industry, and the name was born ... Maximum Training for the Trucking Industry.

5StarLineup

Thanks to the support of all of our clients and the industry, we have grown from 1 to 6 trucks (2005 - 2008 Peterbilts and 2000 Western Stars) with the highest quality instructors. The majority of our clients come from referrals and we are proud of that.

Thanks to my wife, we are building a successful business that allows individuals to broaden their horizons and grow as professional drivers.

During this time our family has grown also, I like to call them Earl’s Girls.

Thank You!!
